Your download-link should appear instantly once you have purchased a sound library, if it doesn’t, please check your email or send a message to support@sonniss.com

Why did my order not get processed?

Make sure that your billing information is correct and that you have signed up for an account. Update your Billing Information via the dashboard and then let us know and we’ll then reprocess your order. You can also redo your order by yourself. If you have any problems please send us an email.

How do I save the sound libraries to my computer?

If you are on a Windows-based computer; right click on the download link and ‘Save Target As’ or ‘Download link to Disk’… select a folder on your computer and press the’save’ button. For Mac users; ‘control-click’ and hold on the download link. A popup menu will appear, ‘Save Target As’ or ‘Download link to Disk’ … select a folder and press ‘save’.

I paid for a sound library. Where is it?

If your download link did not appear on-screen at the point of purchase, there could be system or vendor error; please email us and we’ll be happy help you. Also check your email to see if you have received any notification / invoice messages from us.

What exactly is Sonniss?

Sonniss is a cross-platform digital-marketplace that was specifically setup to enable people in the sound community to easily sell the sound libraries without any hassle.

How is my data stored and used?

Your personal data is stored in a secure fully-encrypted database. No credit-card details are stored (that’s all to do with the merchant – not us). None of your data is used for anything other than personalizing your account, invoicing and purchase tracking. All of your sound libraries are stored on the Amazon S3 infrastructure and delivered via CLOUDFRONT.

Is it possible to cancel my account at any time?

Of course! We made it super-simple. All you have to do is click on the ‘delete this account’ link on the account options page – and your account + data will be flashed and removed.

Why do I need an account?

If you are a buyer, you need an account to be able to access your downloads, track previous transactions and past-purchases. If you are a seller, you need an account to be able to list your libraries for sale, check earnings and get paid.

What file formats do you offer?

All of the file formats on Sonniss are WAV files. If you require other file formats, please contact us and we will happily convert them to your preferred format.

Yes, please email us for more details. We are able to contact any of the vendors on your behalf to discuss the possibility of a potential discount relative to multiple purchases.

Is there a refund-policy or money-back guarantee?

All of the sound effects libraries on Sonniss come with a 100% money-back guarantee issued directly from the vendor. If you file a dispute via the Paypal dashboard regarding the item of concern, the dispute will be dealt with by the associated vendor. You can also contact the vendor directly via the ‘contact vendor’ form on the vendors shop page.

How do I pay for the libraries?

All of the sound effect libraries can be purchased using a credit or debit card via the Paypal interface. You do not need a Paypal account to make purchases.

Where do the sound libraries come from?

The sound libraries are uploaded from professional sound recordists and designers living all over the world. Each library must undergo a manual approval process and are quality-checked to ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality.

Can I preview the sound libraries before I decide to buy?

Of course! Simply click on the play icon at the side of each of the libraries or at the top of the page. You will be able to preview a selection of samples that the vendor has provided.

How much do the sound libraries cost?

All of the sound effects libraries on Sonniss range in prices and are set specifically by the vendors. We have no control over pricing.

Is there a minimum or maximum library cost?

There is a minimum library cost of $10 USD on Sonniss and a maximum of $2000 USD.

Can I include library previews and demo’s?

Of course! Simply click on the ‘add file’ button located on the vendor dashboard / add new product page, under the heading ‘Library Preview’.

How many files does each library need to include?

There is no minimum or maximum amount of files required within your libraries.

Can I include pictures and videos on my product pages?

Of course! We have a full front-end vendor dashboard that makes it super-simple to create pages, set prices and make any necessary modifications.

Do I need to incorporate metadata?

You don’t specifically need to incorporate metadata into all of your sound files, however, we would most certainly prefer you to. (It will save us the job).

What sample rate do the libraries need to be?

The higher the sample rate, the better the audio-quality. There is no preferred sample ratio on Sonniss, but we do have a minimum of 44.1kHz / 16bit. – All libraries are quality checked to ensure that all deliverables are of the highest quality.

Can I upload single sounds?

No. We only allow boutique style sound effect collections / libraries. Sorry for any problems this may cause.

How much do I get paid?

The amount of you get paid variates depending upon the prices you set for each of your libraries.

All commissions are paid instantly at the point of purchase and sent directly to your Paypal account. We charge 20% commission (an industry low) – meaning you get to keep 80% of all revenue generated minus credit card transactions / Paypal fee’s (apx 2.9% combined).

How secure are my files?

All of the sound effects libraries on Sonniss are securely stored on the Amazon S3 Infrastructure. — They are encrypted at the point of upload (on the fly) and then decrypted and served to the purchaser via a secure CloudFront URL.

Who owns the libraries once they are uploaded?

All rights belong to you – period. When you list your libraries for sale on Sonniss you are only selling the usage and synchronization rights – not the actual file ownership.

How do I upload my files?

All of your sound libraries can be easily uploaded using an array of different options. We have a complete full-end vendor dashboard that allows easy uploading, or we can provide you with your own dedicated ftp account. OR alternatively you could always send us your Dropbox, CloudFront or S3 URLS for us to download your files.
